A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.
Heavy wet snow, gusty winds, dangerous wind chills will be possible, with total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches possible. NWS said some areas could dee up to 6 inches.
Portions of West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and East Arkansas will be in the watch.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible, NWS said.
