JPD: Escaped Inmate has Been Captured

Jacob Oliver, the escaped inmate from the Madison County Litter Crew, has been captured, according to a Tuesday afternoon news release from the Jackson Police Department. JPD assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in locating Oliver.

Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Tom Mapes stated Oliver was taken into custody at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday.

Oliver walked away from a litter crew in the Lester’s Chapel and Old Pinson Road area around 10:08 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

Oliver is 27 year old and serving time on misdemeanor charges.
