Motorist traffic in the area of Airways Blvd. and U.S. 45 Bypass is heavily congested due to rerouted traffic from the interstate, according to a news release from the Jackson Police Department.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is redirecting traffic off of the interstate because of an accident. The redirected traffic is causing heavy traffic congestion on Airways Blvd. and the 45 Bypass.
Please consider an alternative route if traveling to North or South Jackson.
