The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms two additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 112 in Madison County, according to a Friday morning news release from the department.
The newest deaths include:
- 86-year-old male (died 11/14/2020)
- 67-year-old male (died 11/22/2020)
The health department received positive test results for 88 more cases of COVID-19. There are now 6,098 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 4 to 84.
The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Twenty-four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Six of those patients are on a ventilator.
The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
