Health Department Confirms Three Additional COVID-19 Deaths, 3,878 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed three additional COVID-19 related deaths in Madison County, according to a Tuesday morning news release. The newest deaths include:

  • 30-year-old male (died 8/15/2020)
  • 73-year-old female (died 9/6/2020)
  • 63-year-old male (died 9/30/2020)

The health department received positive test results for 46 more cases of COVID-19. There are now 3,878 confirmed cumulative cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 2 months to 82.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Thirteen Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.
