Health Department Confirms 3,514 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 47 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Friday morning news release from the health department. We now have 3,514 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include 19 males, 22 females, 6 unknowns and range from ages 8 to 80.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Seven Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Three of those patients are on a ventilator.

The department released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
