Health Department Confirms 3,356 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 15 more cases of COVID-19. according to a Monday morning news release. There are now 3,356 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include 8 males, 7 females, and range from ages 20 to 59.

The department reported Saturday morning 23 new cases of COVID-19, with cases including 15 males, 8 females, and range from ages 8 to 80.

The department reported Sunday morning 32 new cases of COVID-19, with cases including 12 males, 20 females, and range from ages 5 to 83.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Five Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
