Health Department Confirms 2,761 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 20 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Thursday morning news release from the department. There are now 2,761 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases include 7 males, 13 females, and range from ages 1 to 67.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Eleven Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
