Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain announced Hardeman County’s first COVID-19 case on Facebook Friday. The case was not confirmed online by the Tennessee Department of Health until Saturday afternoon.
In the Facebook post, Sain wrote:
“Hardeman County has a confirmed case of COVID-19. No information on the patient will be released. Tennessee’s number is continually rising rapidly as it hit 1,203 (Friday). Yes, it is officially here now. Please limit your leaving the home and interaction with others. No time to panic, but time to be smart with your decisions and follow guidelines. God Bless.”
