Fire Department, and JFD Public Education Officer LaTrell Billingsley as we talk about Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 4 through Oct. 10), fire prevention tips and the Saturday, Oct. 10 sign-up event to receive free smoke alarms and other materials.
The event was held Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Kroger at Lynnwood Place at 941 North Pkwy in Jackson, Tenn. and Food Rite at 1007-1013 E. Chester St. in Jackson, Tenn. from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The Madison County Fire Department will also have a sign-up event for free smoke alarm installation and will also have address markers available for $20 Sunday, Oct. 4 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Food Giant on Christmasville Road and Food Giant South Highland Ave. to kick off Fire Prevention Week.
