Join us for the next episode of the Woman 2 Woman podcast as we welcome Clarissa Williams, President of the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce! Clarissa will share valuable insights on the resources and support the Chamber offers to our community. We'll also dive into a discussion about her business, Client Comprehensive Resource Services, LLC, and the amazing work they're doing in Jackson, TN.
Give Back Jack was started in 2017 by Allison Shipp, who was in Leadership Jackson at the time. It was a community #GivingTuesday campaign and continued. When the pandemic hit in March, Allison saw many struggling to make ends meet, some for the first time in their lives. Many didn’t know where their next meals would come from, and others were relying on the generosity of others for the first times ever. Allison began adding some food items and other essentials to existing local free little libraries around town as a way to help out her neighbors. This has grown to over 15 Blessing Boxes... Only rule is "Take what you need. Bring what you can. Above all, be blessed."
