This week we’re visiting with Shannon Davis - Principal of Alexander Elementary School…we’ll discuss innovative steps Principal Davis and her team are taking to increase academic growth and leadership opportunities among the student body at Alexander - Also, Evette Nesbitt, a member of our district’s family support team will tell us how Leaders Credit Union and other community partners are assisting families in need this holiday season.
This week, we are taking a moment to celebrate school counselors and their work in schools across the district. We’ll be joined by Christen Barron of JCM and Aimee Evans of Arlington Elementary. They’ll give us some insight into the critical tasks professional school counselors complete for our students and families.
Our 13-thousand students are gaining quality - academic instruction - tuition free - in our public schools. Our community partners assist in expanding options + opportunities for our students & families. Today we’ll visit with Dr. MARTHA ROBINSON from the University of Memphis - Lambuth campus. We’ll discuss partnership details, as well as her work with the Madison County Imagination Library.
