We love the Bemis Bubble but the South Side Band has benefited from trips north of the Forked Deer River to perform with other JMCSS bands. Band director Mr. David Sinclair joins us to discuss the growth of fine arts, the impact of the Mass Band initiative on JMCSS, and what competition season has been like for the Marching Hawks. This morning, we’ll visit with Dr. Shari Baldwin, principal at South Side High School. She’ll recap her first semester in the big seat, and provide an overview of the exciting programs and activities at the South Jackson campuses.
