LIFELINE Blood Services will host their Annual Vein Drain Thursday, October 27, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 183 Sterling Farms Drive in Jackson, Tennessee.
“Our donors love the Vein Drain, it’s our biggest themed drive of the year. We look forward to having a spooktacular time while saving lives!” said Melinda Reid, Marketing Manager with LIFELINE Blood Services.
All donors will receive a Vein Drain t-shirt, a Chick-Fil-A coupon, and can enter in the costume contest as well as a drawing for two tickets to the Zombie Trail Paintball. The costume contest will have gift cards as prizes.
LIFELINE Blood Services is open Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. To speak with someone about donating blood, call 731.427.4431, ext. 0.
LIFELINE provides blood services to 21 West Tennessee counties and 13 emergency helicopter service locations. Annually, the Center collects approximately 26,000 blood products (red cell units, platelets, plasma, etc.) to meet the needs of patients. Of that total, 75% of those products are collected on the bloodmobiles across West Tennessee. LIFELINE also provides reference lab and cross-matching services to healthcare facilities.
