No Reverse Records has revealed its cornerstone album of the year, “X,” by LOLO. This album of rockabilly and blues is the rebirth of LOLO as an artist and pays tribute to the musical roots of her hometown, Jackson, Tennessee.
“X” features 11 brand new LOLO arrangements of 1950’s classics, including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Train Kept a Rollin” and “Ooby Dooby.” Each song lives in its own lane of rock’n’roll and highlights LOLO’s unique sound and vocal range.
“The music is so full of life and joy and fun. It’s just been amazing to work on something like this that makes you want to get up and shake your body around,” LOLO said. “When I approached No Reverse Records with the idea of making my Rockabilly dreams come true, it was like I didn’t have to explain anything to them. They heard my ideas and saw my heart and passion for this project. Being able to work with people who see me where I’m at is the real dream.”
