The U.S. Marshals Service, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Memphis Police Department are actively encouraging the public to contact them if they have any information regarding fugitive 26-year-old Barry Medlock, who is wanted for second degree murder.
According to a tweet from the Memphis Police Department, an unknown female, who had suffered from an apparent gunshot, was dropped off deceased at Regional One Health, located at 877 Jefferson Street, in Memphis, June 27. She was identified by MPD as Marika Clark, 23. The department also learned that the victim had a 7-month-old son who was missing.

A statewide Amber Alert was issued June 28 for the baby, Braylen Clark, who was believed to be in the custody of Medlock, his biological father. Braylen was later found safe June 29. A police spokesman said someone dropped off Braylen at the Crump Police precinct, but police did not say who dropped the baby off, Memphis media outlets reported.
Memphis news outlets reported that according to court records, Medlock was arrested in 2019 for domestic violence after he allegedly got angry when a woman tried to discipline his son. That case was disposed. It appears Braylen is too young to be the same child.
Medlock is described as a black male, with black hair and brown eyes, 6 feet and one inch tall and weighing 180 pounds.
Several law enforcement agencies are searching for him.
