NWS: Severe Thunderstorm Warning Remains In Effect Until 4:45 P.M. for Central Benton County

The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Central Benton County until 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.

At 4:10 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Bruceton, or seven miles west of Camden, moving east at 20 mph.

Hazard…ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

Source…radar indicated.

Impact…people and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include:

Camden and Nathan Bedford Forrest state park.
