The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department is now scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments for Madison County residents aged 55 and older as well as individuals included in Phase 2a and Phase 2b.
Phase 2a includes Tennesseans employed in the following critical infrastructure industries:
- Social Services (DCS) (includes child welfare agency personnel with direct public exposure)
- Commercial agriculture
- Commercial food production
- Corrections staff not included in 1a1 (includes administrative staff, those without regular public/inmate contact)
- Public transit
Phase 2b includes Tennesseans employed in the following critical infrastructure industries:
- Transportation (including postal and package delivery, freight railroad, maritime cargo, commercial or cargo service airports)
- Public infrastructure (includes dams, roads, locks, and bridge maintenance and engineering, solid waste collection, and processing)
- Telecommunications (includes those with providing direct services)
- Utilities/Energy (includes line workers and worker and other maintenance and engineering personnel involved in direct provision of services)
We will continue to vaccinate residents included in Phase 1a1, Phase 1a2, Phase 1b, and Phase 1c.
Madison County residents included in these phases can schedule an appointment to receive their COVID-19 vaccine online at www.madisoncountytn.gov. Individuals who do not have internet access can call the COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Line at 1-888-796-8894. If residents have questions about their appointment or trouble scheduling one, please call the appointment line.
Appointments will be issued in 30 minute increments. Residents can show up at the designated distribution location to receive their COVID-19 vaccine at any point during their allotted time. Please bring a valid ID.
The COVID-19 vaccines are not currently available to the general public. We will notify the public when we receive more vaccine and move to the next phase of distribution.
