Health Department Confirms Four Additional COVID-19 Deaths, Cumulative Total of 10,989 Cases in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirmed four additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 203 in Madison County, according to a Tuesday morning news release from the department. The newest deaths include:

  • 89-year-old male (died 11/22/2020)
  • 64-year-old male (died 12/19/2020)
  • 85-year-old female (died 12/28/2020)
  • 95-year-old female (died 1/8/2021)

The health department received positive test results for four more cases of COVID-19. There is a cumulative total of 10,989 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 9 to 65.

Three Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
