he National Weather Service in Memphis said severe storms are likely Wednesday. Elevated thunderstorms, with a threat for large hail will be possible tonight (Tuesday night) into early Wednesday.
NWS said Wednesday morning into Wednesday afternoon, discrete storms will have the potential for bringing large hail, gusty winds and tornadoes.
By Wednesday evening, a line of thunderstorms looks more likely. The risk for hail will drop, but there will still be a possibility of tornadoes and gusty winds.
NWS said all modes of severe weather are possible and everyone show prepare now. Make a safety plan, build an emergency kit, get updates via local news, Radio731, weather radio or phone apps and be ready to take action.
