Health Department Confirms Cumulative Total of 10,885 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 10 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Friday news release from the department. There is now a cumulative total of 10,885 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 14 to 68.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
