The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 11 more cases of COVID-19, according to a Friday morning news release from the department. There are now 10,598 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 27 to 88.
The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Six Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of these patients is on a ventilator.
