The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department is currently scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments for individuals included in Phase 1b, according to a Monday afternoon news release from the department.

To qualify, you must work in Madison County at a K-12 public or private school. Phase 1b also includes pre-school workers and other first responder staff (administrative staff, dispatchers, communications staff, and other first responders without significant direct public contact) who work in Madison County. Individuals who live in Madison County, but work in another county do not qualify.

Individuals included in Phase 1b can schedule an appointment to receive their COVID-19 vaccine online at www.madisoncountytn.gov. People who do not have internet access can call the COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment Line at 1-888-796-8894. Please call the appointment line if you have trouble scheduling an appointment.

Appointments will be issued in 30-minute increments. Individuals in Phase 1b can show up at the designated distribution location to receive their COVID-19 vaccine at any point during their allotted time.

Please bring a valid ID with proof of Madison County employment.

The COVID-19 vaccines are not currently available to the general public. We will notify the public when we receive more vaccine doses and move to the next phase of distribution.

Call the Jackson-Madison County Public Information Line at 731-240-1771 for more information.
