Health Department Confirms 72 New Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 72 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 8.471 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 4 to 96.

Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Thirty-three Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Four of those patients are on a ventilator.
