102 New Cases of COVID-19 and Two More COVID-19 Related Deaths Reported by Health Department

 The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms a 51-year-old male died Nov. 14 and a 52-year-old male died Nov. 16 due to complications from COVID-19, according to a Tuesday morning news release from the department. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 92 in Madison County.

The health department received positive test results for 102 more cases of COVID-19. There are now 4,978 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest confirmed cases range from ages 5 to 90.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Twenty Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Six of those patients are on a ventilator.
