The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 37 more cases of COVID-19, according to Director Kim Tedford. There are now 1,886 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest confirmed cases include 15 males, 22 females, and range from ages 15 to 90.
The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Twenty-one Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
