Jackson-Madison County General Hospital Data Outlines Hospital’s Current Resource Capacity During Pandemic

According to the City of Jackson’s COVID-19 web page (www.jacksonrncovid.com), the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital currently has 524 patients, with 123 beds currently available, up from the 497 patients Tuesday. The hospital currently had 43 COVID-19 patients as of Tuesday morning, up from the 39 COVID-19 patients Monday.

There were only seven ICU beds available, with 70 ICU beds occupied as of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. The number from ICU beds occupied went up from 57 Monday to 70 Tuesday.

The hospital also reported that 26 ventilators were in use Tuesday and 31 are available. Only 24 ventilators were being used Monday.
