The Society for African American Cultural Awareness has invited the community to its Juneteenth Celebration: Wake Up, Everybody: Economics, Education, Equity and Equality for All! The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 19 in the grassy area outside of T.R. White Sportsplex, located at 304 N. Hays Avenue.
Voter registration will be available, the 2020 Census will be taken, there will be guest speakers, music and a DJ.
Social distancing will be observed, please wear a face mask, please bring a lawn chair and there will be limited food and beverages.
