A long-brewing collaboration between Curren$y, Larry June and The Alchemist is finally arriving this month. After months of speculation, the trio has confirmed that their full-length project will officially drop on February 20. While the release date is now set, fans are still waiting on additional details. The album’s title, complete tracklist, and any guest appearances have yet to be announced.

Curren$y announced the news during a recent sit-down with NOLA News, stating: “Me and Larry June dropping February 20th. We shot three [music videos], so we’re dropping the album February 20th.” In the weeks leading up to the announcement, the three artists were seen together filming visuals, signaling that the rollout was already in motion.

During the same interview, Larry June reflected on how Curren$y helped shape his artistic direction. He recalled, “Curren$y actually called me one day and was like, ‘Larry, I love your trap shit but you gotta do that smooth sh*t. We gotta clean the kitchen to your sh*t!’” The advice pushed June to lean further into laid-back production and polished vibes — a lane that has since become central to his sound.

The upcoming album builds on a creative chemistry the trio has already demonstrated on songs such as “Endurance Runners” and “Barragán Lighting.” The Alchemist, in particular, has a longstanding history of collaborating with both rappers on separate projects.
