West Tennessee Outdoor Expo – Duck Call Contest

Categories
- Hail Call – Loud, attention-getting call to pull ducks from a distance.
- Feed Call – Fast, choppy cadence to imitate ducks feeding.
- Comeback Call – Urgent call to bring ducks back when they’re leaving.
- Single Quack / Greeting Call – Short, realistic quacks for close birds.
- Freestyle Call-off (Optional) – Show off your skills, style, or creativity.
Divisions
- Youth Division: Under 16 years old
- Adult Division: 16 years & older
Rules
- Registration: Sign up by filling out the form at radio731.com or at the event before 1:00 PM.
- Equipment: Contestants must bring their own hand/mouth calls.
- No electronic calls, sound systems, or amplifiers allowed.
- Performance Time: 30–45 seconds per call category.
- Warm-Up: Each contestant may blow 1–2 warm-up calls before starting.
- Order of Competition: Determined by random draw.
- Conduct: No profanity or offensive content.
- Tie-Breakers: In the event of a tie, contestants will compete in a 1-minute call-off.
Judging Criteria (1–10 points each)
- Realism: Accuracy of duck sounds.
- Clarity & Tone: Clean, crisp notes.
- Rhythm & Cadence: Proper pacing and flow.
- Volume Control: Adjusting loudness appropriately.
- Overall Presentation: Stage presence, confidence, and control.
Highest combined score wins.

- Adult Champion: $500 Cash + Swag
- Youth Champion: $200 Cash + Swag
