NWS: Mid-South in Enhanced Risk for Severe Weather Until About 7 A.M. Thursday, Aug. 10

According to National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center graphics, the Mid-South is in an Enhanced Risk for Severe Weather now through 7 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2023.

 

There’s about a 10- 14 percent chance for a tornado for parts of West Tennessee during that timeframe. Other parts of West Tennessee fall in the five to nine percent range.

There’s a 20 to 44 percent chance for severe wind during that timeframe for all of West Tennessee.

There will also be a 15-29 percent chance of severe hail for all of West Tennessee during that timeframe.
