The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Flood Warning for three West Tennessee counties until early Sunday afternoon.
Those counties are Dyer, Gibson and Obion counties.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE…Obion River near Obion.
* WHEN…Until early Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 36.0 feet, Rives is flooding. Most cropland near the river is flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 35.5 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 36.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to continue a gradual fall, dropping below flood stage Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
