
According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, there have been numerous reports of power outages across the area. Roads and brides are slick and several accidents have been noted on I-55.
There is currently a lull in activity right now but we could still see some freezing drizzle.
This afternoon should start round two of the winter weather. Most of West Tennessee remains in an Ice Storm Warning which is in effect until 12 p.m. Wednesday.
There have been reports of internet outages at the intersection of Holland and Cedar Grove Roads in Big Sandy, a large area of Camden is experiencing internet and power outages due to trees knocking down a few power poles.
There is also a report that a bridge on the 45-Bypass in Humboldt, near Jones Manufacturing, is a solid sheet of ice.
From the City of Paris, according to it’s Facebook page: trees and powerlines down in the College Street and Depot area. This has caused power outages in Downtown Paris! Please avoid the Downtown area if at all possible, to allow for restoration in this area. If you must travel, take extreme caution. Traffic lights are out at the intersections of Dunlap/Veterans, Market/Wood, Market/Washington, Wood/Irvine, and the flashing light at Wood/Porter. Please treat these as four-way stops.
