The Jackson-Madison County Library has several ongoing programs for children this month.

New Program! Create-a-Game in the MakerSpace meets on November 17 at 4:00 pm. In the Library’s Makerspace, learn how to make your own board game. Using parts of other board games and reskinning them to your interests, you can create something new and more fun than the original! Call the MakerSpace or email jmcmakerspace@gmail.com to register.

Come play at Conger Park! November 1st and 15th at 3:30 pm. Weather Permitting.

Story Time is every Monday at 10:30 am and every Tuesday at 10:30 am. This month’s dates include November 7, 14, 21 & 28 and November 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29. Bring the little ones for stories, songs, fun, and new friends. For babies and toddlers, but all ages are welcome.

Family Book Club is every Thursday at 10:30 am on November 3 & 17. All homeschooling families with elementary school aged children are welcome. Let the Children’s Department know in advance if you plan to join so we can set you up with a book. This year, we are traveling the world with stories as our transportation. We choose a chapter book set in a different country and families read aloud at home. Each week we meet in the Program Center to talk, play, craft, and make friends.

Come play at Conger Park! November 1st and 15th at 3:30 pm, weather permitting.

Build at the Library on November 22 at 2:00 pm. Kids of all ages can come build and show off their Lego skills with the library’s collection of bricks and tinker toys.

Pokémon Trading Card Swap is on November 12 at 12:00 pm. Come to the library to trade cards from everyone’s favorite pocket monster game, Pokémon.
