The National Weather service in Memphis has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for portions of West Tennessee, East Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel and North Mississippi.
There is a slight to marginal risk for severe weather across the Mid-South Tuesday. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat, but there is also a potential for marginally severe hail and locally heavy rainfall.
NWS said strong to severe storms will possible again Wednesday. Damaging winds will be the main threat but small hail and locally heavy rainfall will also be possible.
NWS also was to remind you that lightning, though not part of the severe warning criteria, can be life-threatening. “Remember, when thunder roars, GO indoors!”
