The National Weather Service in Memphis issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook around 3:19 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, which has strong to severe weather possible for the Mid-South Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.
According to NWS, strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday afternoon and evening across northwest Tennessee, northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel. Damaging winds will be the main threat from these storms.
Thursday, strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Thursday afternoon and evening across areas in East Arkansas and West Tennessee along and south of interstate 40 as well as North Mississippi. Damaging winds will be the main threat from these storms.
