Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of West Tennessee tonight: southern WEAKLEY, HENDERSON, NORTHEASTERN LAUDERDALE, NORTHEASTERN HARDIN, NORTHERN HAYWOOD, NORTHERN MADISON, CROCKETT, EASTERN DYER, GIBSON, SOUTHERN BENTON, CARROLL, SOUTHWESTERN HENRY and DECATUR counties through 6:30 pm., according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.
At 5:41 pm, doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near BELLE EAGLE to near BARGERTON to near DECATURVILLE. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
Hazard…winds in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail.
Source…radar indicated.
Impact…gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
