Due to the severe weather forecasted for Wednesday, April 13, 2022, Mayor Conger is opening the Carl Perkins Civic Center, located at 400 S. Highland Ave. in Jackson, Tenn., as a severe weather shelter.
The Civic Center will open its doors starting at 2 p.m.
Please use the lower-level south entrance (across from Mother Liberty C.M.E. Church) to enter.
