Public Notice is hereby given that the City of Jackson, Tenn., and TLM Associates will host a public meeting in regards to the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant for Airways Blvd., Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the George A. Smith Meeting Room at City Hall, 101 East Main Street.
The proposed project will replace the entire roadway and sidewalk system along Airways. This is a 1-mile segment from Main Street to the US 45 Bypass and includes the addition of a completely new road with bike lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalk, street lighting, drainage and pedestrian signals and striping.
This is a highly competitive, 100% federally funded grant. Public participation and multi-entity collaboration will help us secure points on this grant application.
