The National Weather Service in Memphis said a Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect from 6 p.m. Friday evening until 6 a.m. Saturday. This advisory is for all of the Mid-South.
NWS said snow is expected, with a total snow accumulations of one to three inches, with locally higher amounts.
Travel could be difficult. Roads may become slick, especially bridges and overpasses.
NWS said you should slow down and use caution while traveling.
