The Friends of the Jackson-Madison County are hosting their monthly first Thursday speaker program on March 3, 2022 at noon at the main library.
Lynne Henning is a lifelong resident of Jackson, Tennessee with 44 years of experience in banking, finance & investments. Lynne has been employed with Raymond James & Associates for 21 years as a Financial Advisor and Vice President of Investments, and is a partner of the Smith/Campbell Group.
Lynne currently serves as a member of the Business Advisory Committee for Jackson State Community College where she attended college. She also serves on the advisory committee of Raymond James’ Black Financial Advisor council where their goal is to promote more diversity through hiring and training of black financial advisors. Lynne also is an associate member of the Tennessee State University Jackson, TN Alumni Association where she serves on the fundraising committee. She is a current member of The Jackson Exchange Club where she is a past president and current Youth committee chairperson. Lynne has served on numerous boards throughout the city of Jackson and is currently a member of the newly formed Jackson Equality Program. Lynne is a 2000 graduate of Leadership Jackson, and is a past recipient of a Sterling Award as one of the 20 most influential women in West Tennessee.
Lynne is an active member of Progressive Community Baptist Church serving as a Sunday School teacher, youth advisor and choir member.
Lynne has been married to Jeff Henning for 44 years. They have 2 daughters, Jocelyn Henning-Peterson and Janita Henning-Rhodes. They also have 8 grandchildren, Autumn, Gavin, Donovan, Maddox, Haylyn, Sky, Ava and Mason
She will discuss on the topic of financial literacy in 2022!
