Health Dept. Confirms Three Additional COVID-19 Deaths, Over 85 New Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County Since Oct. 12

 The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 304 in Madison County, according to a Friday morning news release from the department. The newest deaths include:

  • 69-year-old female (died 10/9/2021)
  • 72-year-old male (died 10/11/2021)
  • 42-year-old female (died 10/9/2021)

The health department has received positive test results for 89 more cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021. There is now a cumulative total of 18,073 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

The department released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
