The Madison County Solid Waste Convenience Center in Medon will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 29 and Thursday, Sept. 30 for repairs. The site will reopen Friday, Oct. 1. The convenience center is located at 31 Bowman-Collins Road.
Workers are laying new asphalt at the site. The convenience center will be closed until construction is complete. The health department will make an announcement if that reopening date changes.
Madison County residents can use any of the other nine convenience centers located in Madison County to dispose of household waste. Find a list of those sites at https://www.madisoncountytn.gov/183/Solid-Waste
