T. Clark Shaw Memorial Lane Service of Dedication to be Held Aug. 20

The Service of Dedication and Unveiling for the T. Clark Shaw Memorial Lane will be held at the Casey Jones Railroad Museum Theater, on Casey Jones Lane, Friday, August 20.

According to his obituary, “Thomas Clark Shaw, age 66, entered into Heaven’s Glory Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee after a short illness. He was a beloved husband, Dad and Granddaddy. He served as a longtime Jackson businessman, restaurateur, as well as a local, state, regional and national tourism industry leader.” Shaw had been hospitalized with COVID-19 before he passed away due to COVID-19 complications.

The program will feature a welcome by City of Jackson Mayor Scott Conger.

The invocation is scheduled to be by Dr. Adam Dooley, pastor of Englewood Baptist Church.

The program will also feature remarks by Conger, Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris, Representative Johnny Shaw, Representative Chris Todd, Senator Ed Jackson and Congressman David Kustoff.

The unveiling will be done by Conger, Jackson Councilman Ross Priddy and City Manager Alex Reed, followed by acceptance and remarks by Brooks Shaw and family.
