The Jackson Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a woman that has been reported missing from a local group care home, according to a Tuesday night news release from JPD.
Hazel Denise Patterson is a black female, 59 years old, 5 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. Last seen wearing flower print tights, a grey jacket, with a blue and gray shirt. Patterson suffers from mental health issues including dementia and may not be safe alone.
Patterson walked away from caretakers at Charity House of Love, located at 677 Westwood at about 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10. Police were notified about 5:50 p.m. Patterson does not have a cell phone.
