Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured Tuesday evening, according to a news release Thursday morning.
Jackson Police were dispatched to 620 Skyline Drive for a report of two gunshot victims arriving to the emergency room with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, Tuesday, July 27, around 10:40 p.m.
Based on information from the preliminary investigation, officers determined that the victims were shot in the area of 1748 Hollywood Drive. Both victims have been uncooperative and have refused to provide any information that would assist investigators in the identification and apprehension of the suspect.
One of the victims in this shooting was also the victim in what officers believe was a targeted shooting that occurred on June 4 in the area of 1150 Hollywood Drive. In that June 4 shooting, the victim sustained several shots to his body. The victim also refused to provide any information that would assist in apprehending the suspect and resolving the case.
