The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department reopened The WIC Center for in-person services this week for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The WIC Center, located at 589 East College Street, is now open for Tennessee Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) certification appointments only. Follow-up appointments are still being done over the phone.
The WIC program provides healthy foods for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under age five.
Call the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department at 731-423-3020 (press 1 for WIC) to schedule an appointment.
