Jackson Police are investigating an early Friday morning shooting that occurred at the apartments located at 1150 Hollywood Drive.
Around 12:40 A.M., June 4, Jackson Police responded to 1150 Hollywood Drive for shots that were heard by officers patrolling in the area. Responding officers located a black male victim suffering from multiple gunshots. The victim, who appeared to be in critical condition, was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital for treatment.
Based on the preliminary investigation, Jackson Police believe this act of violence was not a random act of violence but a targeted act of violence.
