Health Department Confirms Cumulative Total of 11,509 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for two new cases of COVID-19, according to a Friday morning news release from the department. There is now a cumulative total of 11,509 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest cases range from ages 40 to 54.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Two Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. None of those patients are on ventilators.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
