Health Department Confirms Cumulative Total of 11,473 Cases of COVID-19 in Madison County

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for four new cases of COVID-19, according to a Wednesday morning news release from the department. There is now a cumulative total of 11,473 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest cases range from ages 30 to 68.

The department’s epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.

Four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.

The department also released the following demographic information about Madison County’s confirmed COVID-19 cases.
